Every Sunday evening our church has a youth mass. Teenagers welcome you in and usher you down the aisles. From the altar, the beat of a drum marks the rhythm of the evening. Last year’s drummer, Mariah, had invited a classmate to join the band, Camille said yes. And now because of that invitation Camille has followed the longing in her heart. The longing for joy that can only be found through her Creator. She was baptized last Sunday and will be confirmed in the Spring, all because of an invitation from a friend.
