Mission Monday: Mission Delores Basilica

I leave you with one last post before I head out to serve the pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago – the road to St. James’s tomb in Santiago de Compostela. I will stay in contact via https://www.facebook.com/TheCatholicMuse?ref=hl and post a blog as I have time. I will share my experience with you as the pilgrims make their way to their destination.

This mission basilica is located on the grounds of the Mission San Francisco de Assisi. The stained glass windows depicted on the 21 mission in California. A large stained glass window above the choir loft is an image of Saint Francis of Assisi. The Lenten cross holds the prayers of the faithful as they journey through lent to the foot of the cross. I hope you are progressing well on your Lenten journey.
